What Does This Service Include?
- Copy and content edit of your one-page query letter (up to 500 words). This edit focuses on query necessities, including the hook, metadata, character introduction, plot progression, stakes, and author biography.
- Copy and content edit of your one page synopsis (up to 800 words). I will look at the plot progression and character development in your synopsis to ensure all the elements are clear and build upon one another to create an engaging story. I will also complete a thorough copy edit to ensure the piece is technically correct.
- Copy, line, and content edit of the first 5,000 words of your manuscript. This service is very similar to my First Pages Review. I will do a developmental edit to ensure these important first pages are doing everything they need to hook the reader and establish the plot and character development to come. I will also complete a thorough line edit to make every sentence shine and do a final copy edit to remove technical errors.
